Old books, Golf and Back to School

Monday, August 23rd, 2004

This past weekend was my last weekend at home for a while. I am excited to go back to school and see everyone. College has really flown by. Hopefully, after I graduate I will be able to find a job. So, if you know anyone that is hiring a computer programmer in the Michigan or Indiana… ;)

Anyway… Saturday, we went to my step-grandma’s house. Since my Grandpa was a pastor, he had quite a large collection of books. We went to look at the books. I came home with a box of old books. My favorites are: The Best of CS Lewis published in 1969 and John Wesley by V.H.H Green published in 1964. One of the things I discovered in my CS Lewis and friends class was my interest in old books.

Sunday, my dad and I went golfing at Golden Hawk. It is a nice course that is close to my house. As for my game… well, lets just say that I instantiated my score ceiling for a hole of 2 x par many times.

I head back to Taylor on Wednesday. I head back early to work on the Echo, Taylor’s student newspaper.
