Spring Break Adventure

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2005

I have exciting plans for spring break this year (my last spring break). My uncle and I are going on a photo adventure. First I’m driving home to spend Easter with my family. Then I’m flying to my uncle’s in Kansas. From there we are going to drive along the Santa Fe Trail. The trail stretches from St. Louis to Santa Fe. We will be going along the part in Kansas and New Mexico. I’m excited and the trip will should provide many opportunities for great photos.

Wonderful Weekend

Monday, February 21st, 2005

I had a really good weekend. It was nice after a somewhat stressful week. Friday, I took Alisse and Emily to Walmart so they could get things they needed for Saturday. On Saturday, I went and took photos of Taylor’s Women’s basketball team. It was pretty exciting because it was the last regular season game. They are now second in the conference and Liz Plass one of the seniors broke the schools record for career points scored in the final seconds of the game.

For dinner, Alisse and Emily made dinner at Anders and Isaac’s apartment. It was really good. After dinner, Alisse and I were introduced to Arrested Development. It’s a really funny TV show about a dysfunctional rich family.

Sunday, Alisse and I went to church then did some homework in the afternoon. All in all it was really good weekend. I also managed to finish my taxes :).

Home Town Info

Sunday, February 20th, 2005

While browsing the Internet, I ran across as site that reports census data. I looked up my home town, Marine City, and thought I’d share the results with you. Notice how diverse my town is… An intersting fact, Upland is 400 feet higher above Sea level than Marine City.

Feb 14 !=SAD

Tuesday, February 15th, 2005

This Feb. 14 was alittle different than previous years. I actaully had a Valentine, instead of it being Singles Awareness Day. Alisse and I went to dinner at the DC (not romantic, but cheaper) then we went to see the movie version of the Phantom of the Opera. It was good. It diverted from the muscial somewhat, but provided good back story. Afterwards, we went to the Tree of Life for coffee. It was a really good Valentines day :). Saturday, was Gerigs annual broomball Pick A Date. It was really fun playing broomball and ice skating with Alisse. Well, I need to go to bed.
