On the Road Again

Thursday, July 28th, 2005

My traveling continues. Last weekend I was back in Chicago to visit Alisse. We had a really good time. Except for all of the Chicago traffic — not fun. You’d think that there wouldn’t be backups on Sunday evening… there were. On Saturday, we went up to Wheaton to visit my friends Teresa and Daniel. We had a great time going out to lunch and playing cards in the afternoon. It’ll be awhile before I see them again because they are headed off to teach in the Dominican Republic. Sunday, it was 100 deg at Alisse’s house. We washed our cars (both Civics :) ) and had fun getting each other wet. Funny thing happend: I had a can of pop in my car and I was bringing it into the house to cool it off. It exploded all over Alisse’s front porch. It was actaully pretty funny.

This weekend I’m headed back to Michigan for Church Camp. It’s kinda sad because this will be the first year of my life that I won’t be there all week. I have a lot of fond memories from camp. It’s been a huge part of my family going all the way back to my grandparents. My grandma took my grandpa there before they were married. I am taking Monday off so I will have a little bit of an extended weekend.

The next weekend will be the first weekend that I’m in Muncie in several weeks. Darrel is coming down to visit! I’m excited to show Darrel all around the great city of Muncie (note the sarcasim :) ). Honestly, Muncie isn’t that bad.

Anyway, I should get to be. I do have work tomorrow and a 5 hour drive to Camp.

Still Here

Yes, I am still here. Sorry for the long delay in updates. I’ve been pretty busy. Two weekends ago I went to Frankie and Anna’s wedding. It went well. I was their offical photographer. This was a big first for me. It went well and the photos look pretty good too. Last weekend I went to Chicago to see Alisse. It was really good to see her again. The weekend definantly went by too quickly. This coming up weekend I’m going to Washington DC to meet up with my mom and sister. It should be fun! Anyway, this is just a quick update.
