Dear IE Users:

Sunday, August 27th, 2006

I have (finally) fixed the CSS so my blog displays correctly in IE.  I also fixed the links at the top of the page.

If you do use IE, you should really switch to Firefox.  Or at least update to IE 7 (beta). You will be safter and you computer happier.

Let me know find any other CSS or layout bugs.

Blog Update

Friday, August 25th, 2006

So, I’m updating my blog. Yes, I’m not in Arizona any more :). Last weekend was a nice relaxing weekend with nothing to do! I did make it down to Carmel to see Josh and Joanna. We ate sausage, watched Star Trek and played Flux.

Part of the reason for the lake of update is I’ve been (somewhat) busy getting my main desktop computer back up to speed. No, it didn’t die but it got a new hard drive. I nice roomy 320 GB. I’m taking a bunch of my old hard drives and making a linux raid file server. Although that really doesn’t stop me from blogging. Even know I’m on my laptop.

This week Alisse came back to Taylor. I helped move in and arrange furniture.

In Arizona

Saturday, August 12th, 2006

This weekend I’m in Arizona for Emily and Ander’s Wedding. Arizona is pretty — even though it’s not that green.  The brown hilly landscape dotted with scrubs, cactus and palm trees is a welcomed changed from the flat, leafy green of Indiana.  (Atlanta was pretty too, but not as different as Arizona.)  It is pretty warm here, hot then Hotlanta.  The good thing is there is a lot less humidity.

I should post some photos but that will probably have to wait until I get back to Indiana.

Camp, Last Weekend

Saturday, August 12th, 2006

Last weekend, I went up to camp.  My family has been going there for a long time.  My grandma took my grandpa there the ’30s or ’40s.  The camp itself has been a long time, about 140 years.

I went on the last weekend of camp.  It was strange getting there just in time for everything to wind down, packup and go home.  This is the second summer I’ve only been able to make it for one of the weekends.

I’m glad I got to see my family and catch up with old friends I don’t see very often.  I should post some photos — but you may have to wait until my photo website is finished :). That maybe a while yet!

One of my favorite things to do at camp is browse the book store.  It’s not very big but usually has a good selection.  Often I get a new book.  This year, I picked up Searching for God Knows What. I’ve very excited about reading it.  I just finished Blue Like Jazz (by the same author).
