It’s been awhile since my last post.  I’ll try to recap some of the highlights.

Alisse’s Cousin’s Wedding
The very last wedding of the year was two weekends ago.  I took Friday off of work and Alisse and I ventured up to her home for the wedding.  Alisse was a bride’s maid and looked very beautiful.  It was a fun time and a needed day off of work.

Bryan and Claire Visit
My cousin Bryan and his (new) wife Claire we down in the Muncie area for a wedding.  Friday evening, we went out to eat at one of my favorite places to eat in Muncie, Scotty’s. Saturday we hung out at Starbuck’s and another one of my favorite places to visit in Muncie, Jack’s.

Other News

• My Linux File Server is having hardware issues.  I first thought it was the power supply.  The after more testing I got it working and thought it was the primary hard drive.  I RMA’d the hard drive and shipped it back.  Tonight, I put in my different hard drive and it doing the same same thing.  So, it must be the power supply.  Great, that hard drive I just shipped off is probably fine…
• I got a coat rack.  I’ve always wanted one.  Target had one online that was reasonably prices and matched my living room furniture.
• New Light bulb in the living room.  This may not sound like much, but it has drastically improved my apartment. Earlier this year, I got a new floor lamp.  So, I went to pick out a nice halogen-energy-saving-environmentally-friendly light bulb.  After much consideration, I picked out a bulb that sounded very cool: a ‘full-spectrum’ bulb.  I got it home and put it in.  Wow! it was bright and freakishly white! I didn’t really like it since it cast freaky, sterile light.  I thought ‘Great, these things are suppose to last 10 years or something like that.  I’m going to be stuck with it forever! Well, the other day, I was walking thru Meijer’s and they had normal halogen light bulbs on sale.  Against my cheapness I bought it.  And now my living room looks much nicer!
• Another new addition to my living room is a new coffee table and end table.  They even match my couch, shelves and new coat rack!
• New car battery.  My car had the same battery in it for as long as I’ve had the car (about 4.5 years).  I knew it was getting weak.  I’m surprised it has lasted this long.

Election
As you probably heard, we had the mid-term elections.  This was my first time voting in Indiana.  I think the power shift in Congress will be a good thing. It should provide more balance to the government.
Weekend Preview
Darrel and Jay are coming down for the weekend!

Spelling
I think my favorite new feature in Firefox 2.0 is the spell check in text boxes.  Hopefully this post will have less the usual amount of spelling errors.
Why…
…have I finally posted?  It may have something to do with the World of Warcraft server I play on (Icecrown) being down.
