Getting Rid of Soap Scum on glasses

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

My apartment has a pretty cheap dishwasher and Muncie’s water isn’t the softest, this leaves lots of soap residue on my glasses. It doesn’t rinse off very easily and looks terrible. I looked on line, and found that baking soda should work.

So I put all of my glasses in the sink and covered them with lots of baking soda, then filled the sink up with hot water. After a few hours soaking and washing the baking soda off, the soap scum is mostly gone.

The Perfect Dog

Monday, November 19th, 2007

So, I was browsing around the Internet this weekend and I came across a dog breed that I really like: Glen of Imaal Terrier. Alisse and I decided it would be the perfect dog for us.

  • It doesn’t shed much
  • It can does well apartments
  • It’s very, very cute
  • We like the description of it’s temperament
  • It doesn’t bark much
  • It’s origins are from County Wicklow, Ireland (the same county as Greystones)
  • We could name it a cool Irish Name, like Seamus

Unfortunately, they are kind of rare. Apparently there are waiting lists to get one from a breeder. Thus, they most also be expensive.

Oh well, Alisse and I weren’t planning on getting a dog for awhile anyway…
