Update: 3, 90, 60

Yesterday was the start of my third week at my new job. It’s going pretty well. We have a very relaxed atmosphere yet get a lot of work done.

Two weekends ago, I went with Alisse and her family to New York City for her Grandpa’s 90th birthday. We stayed in the upper west side near his apartment. The party went well and we had a good time. Sunday afternoon, there was a street fair going on. We walked around for a bit. My big purchase was the first Beatles Record. I also got to run in Riverside park. We also went up to Chappaqua (where Alisse’s dad grew up). Yes, we drove by Chappaqua’s famous resident’s house. On Memorial Day we drove back to Long Island. We went to the beach but it was cold and very windy, so we didn’t stay long.

This past weekend, I went up to Houghton Lake, MI for my dad’s 60th birthday party. We stayed at a lodge on the lake. It had a great view of the lake. It felt a lot like Camp. There were also several golfing trips, but I didn’t go on any because I didn’t feel well because of I had (still have) a cold.

My apartment is also much more unpacked. It’s not quite finished, but I don’t have a ton of boxes everywhere. Pictures coming, I promise :).
