Getting Rid of Soap Scum on glasses

My apartment has a pretty cheap dishwasher and Muncie’s water isn’t the softest, this leaves lots of soap residue on my glasses. It doesn’t rinse off very easily and looks terrible. I looked on line, and found that baking soda should work.

So I put all of my glasses in the sink and covered them with lots of baking soda, then filled the sink up with hot water. After a few hours soaking and washing the baking soda off, the soap scum is mostly gone.

That’s great to know. I think it’s awesome how baking soda and/or vinegar seem to clean everything. My glasses are only mildly affected- and the house we just moved into has very soft water, so they should be clean once they’re all rotated through the dishwasher.
