Clique here…

An interesting site that is out there in the wild of the internet is buddyzoo.com. This site lets you upload your AIM buddy list and see fun social networks, such as cliques. It also shows you pretty graphs of your social network. So, if you are bored, check this out. I updated my buddy lists for mwissman76 and wheresmytractor7.

Social networks are interesting… but I really don’t have much to say about them, but they are neat.

Neat.

I fixed the CSS for my blog. So it is working.

Neat.

Goodnight.

Looking for fun?

Here is the all to common situation: you have a free afternoon, a GPS laying around, a spare wireless network card and a laptop handy. What do you do? Go wardriving! This is what Joanna and I did yesterday. Okay, so we really didn’t have a free afternoon, but we made the time because took this adventure for a class project. The project entailed using and then writing a report about a particular “hacking” tool. We choose Netstumbler for our tool. The basic purpose of the tool is to locate wireless networks. Wardriving, if you don’t know already, is driving around in your call with a laptop looking for wireless access points. This turned out to be pretty fun. On one road we found well over 100 wireless access points in a few miles stretch. Many of the access point where left wide open. We didn’t get the GPS going because it was too cloudy.

Would people here be interested in me putting my journal from my trip to England online? I’m thinking about doing that over the summer. Let me know!
